Accomplished Graphic Designer offering more than 10 years of experience working with various industrial clients and authors in India. Currently, I'm living in Brisbane. I started my design career in 2013 - doing Fine art (Applied Art) from M.S. University, Baroda, India. Also, I am holding a Master's degree (IT Animation & VFX) from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India. Specifically, the printing and graphic elements of the course introduced me to design elements and philosophy which I found inspiring. Since graduating with my degree I continued to learn and immerse myself in UX/UI design principles and ultimately discovered human-centred design. My design practises based on usability and understanding of the user. Demonstrated success in project management. Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite.
Even as a kid, I just knew I had it in me – the creative urge to design - build, experiment, rebuild and invent. That’s why, perhaps, when it came to graduation, I had absolutely no doubts in my mind – Design and Applied Arts was my natural choice. The graduation gave my passion a purpose. I now knew what I wanted and how to make it happen. I was open. I welcomed ideas and harnessed diverse creative opinions – it changed my world.
Now, from the stack of paper files on my desk to the graphical precision of a pixel, I am for perfection in creation.
I got my first big gig when working with INIT Design Studios. Then I got offer from Kruti Graphic, who are fluent in Real-Estate branding market. I got the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the industry, exploring, questioning, learning, admiring and appreciating everything. With this experience, I was able to find a niche for myself – developing one-of-a-kind packaging design for Luxury products when working with All Good Scents. I mastered the art of making out-of-the-box graphics for marketing packages by banking on my now-proficient Adobe CC skills. Before I moved to Australia, I was working with Kitchen Express as Graphic Design Coordinator, I know that my years of experimenting with color, font, and other graphic elements have allowed me to approach designing with an open mind. With my meticulous attention to detail, and an obsessive need for perfection, I have been overseeing packaging design, execution, quality control, and marketing creatives successfully. My experience at Mapin Publishing gave me my working mantra – a design doesn’t happen on a whim. There should be a reason and a rhyme.
The almost-6 years I worked in Mapin publishing widened my worldview, and cemented my design fundamentals. I quickly climbed the career ladder by sharpening my Adobe skills for making pixel-perfect layouts for print ready book files. I make sure that every graphic design element I place has a purpose, every colour a reason, and every layout, typeface and composition complete the picture. I am doing what I love the most and excel in – packaging design, book design, marketing packages, brand collaterals, events, stalls and promotional packages. I have been quenching my innate urge to create, reimagine, and employ creative design practices to solve business problems. I am ready to excel in the next project you have in mind!
